This work resulted in the creation and introduction of brake pads with a 3-layer ANTI-NOISE overlay. The overlay consists of rubber layer resistant to temperatures of up to +450\u00b0C, a steel base, and a non-flammable and esthetical material coating. This design allowed for an increased comfort by clear reduction of the screeching sounds generated during braking.<br\/>Furthermore, the composition and color scheme of the pad?s anticorrosion layer have been changed, thus providing better heat transfer coefficients.
